Identifying & optimizing strengths

In this existing world of 'chaos and confusion', sometimes we get lost. We are not clear what we are doing, why we are doing, what's the life purpose and how can we find peace and happiness. Most of us are unable to recall the last time we have laughed wholeheartedly, last time when we have experienced joy and last time when we felt that our life is 'blissful'.
Further to 'Know Thyself" post, once you have identified and written down your strengths, ask yourself a question. Am I making the most of what I am God gifted with? Are my daily actions aligned with my strengths? How can I feel more happy and confident with my strengths. There are high chances that you might not at all be doing what you are good at or doing very little of it. What to do then?
Suggesting some examples below:
1. If you are good at writing, start journaling daily. Even if it is just a paragraph. It can be on a sheet of paper, any notebook or notepad, or any electronic medium. If daily is not possible, atleast 3-4 times a week or whenever you get time.
2. If you are good at cooking, try to cook on your own as often as possible. There is no rulebook of cooking which says that you will be considered good cook, if you make elaborate or complex or fusion or international dishes. Just a simple dish to start with.
Most important is to take baby steps. Don't try to run fast otherwise you will lose your momentum fast. Don't make it another 'TO DO' task. Make conscious effort that you take out some time during the day or week to sharpen your 'strengths.
Point is to utilize your time and energy and channelize it in a better way. Whatever you are 'God gifted with', serve its purpose! Your strengths are unique to you and you are blessed with them to make proper use for your betterment only.
